"Date For The Cure" is the collective vision
of a few volunteers who have been directly
affected by cancer. Their hope is that this
will be one of the largest fundraising
events for the North Texas Chapter of The
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. On April 27,
they will once again see their vision
realized as the opening bids are placed at
the fourth annual event. Over the past few
years, the bachelor and silent auctions have
raised more than $160,000. The goal for this
year's event was to raise more than $70,000.
